The Story Behind This Piece
Long ago, before the world learned to divide, there existed a truth—everything was one. From that truth emerged two forms: Shiva, the stillness of the universe, and Shakti, its boundless energy. Though they appeared separate, they were never apart. One held silence, the other movement. One was calm, the other creation. Yet neither was complete without the other. So they became one—Ardhanarishvara—a single form where strength and grace, power and compassion, logic and emotion existed in perfect balance. It is said that this form is not just divine, but a reminder— Within each of us lives both sides. And true harmony begins when we accept them as one.
